The free Artist’s Resource List is no longer paywalled, online plein air show, sketch today
Hi, everyone! Just a few quick items today regarding—
Free Artist’s Resource List (whoops I accidentally paywalled it!)
Today’s sketch workshop at Daniel Boone Homestead
View online version of the plein air show (in which I placed third and won the People’s Choice Award!)
Free Resources
A proactive reader spotted a mistake: my FREE Artist’s Resource List that I’ve been promoting lately, was paywalled! I didn’t realize that page would auto-paywall like a normal post would. Anyway, it’s un-paywalled, so if you had trouble getting to it before, you may now enjoy for free. It’s on the homepage navigation bar.
Daniel Boone Workshop
I’m literally heading out the door in a few moments to help people sketch scenes at Daniel Boone Homestead in Berks County, PA (11am to 2pm, meet at the Boone House, bring sketch materials, rain or shine! We should be done before storms roll in).
If you come, I’m asking for a $25 contribution. Of that I’ll give a portion to the organization that maintains the property.
See plein air paintings
The Plein Air West Reading show was a great success! At Friday’s opening I was awarded third place by juror Ron Donoughe, then on Saturday at the street festival, the public awarded my work the People’s Choice Award!
You can now see the online version of the show. The majority of the nearly 150 paintings produced last week in Berks County by thirty artists are now available to view as high resolution scans; originals are for sale!
Check it out on the Art Plus Gallery website. (As long as the online show runs, about a month, it will be on the main page as Plein Air West Reading Online Exhibit).
See you!
See you at Daniel Boone in an hour hopefully, or else at a workshop in the future (or here online in the comments section). Or maybe at the Mary Blair Gouache workshop at Historic Yellow Springs in two weeks!
