Use an eraser to “carve the light” out of charcoal-toned paper, and dark graphite to establish shadows for fast, accurate, and beautiful results.

It was another beautiful winter day at Historic Yellow Springs in Chester County, Pennsylvania this weekend—and a great day to teach students how to draw using charcoal-toned paper, graphite, and a Pink Pearl eraser.
