Hi Zoungy! I think I mentioned in class a few things but posting here as well. Forest Gump square (Chippewa Square) or maybe even better Forsyth Park as it has moss draped oaks which are super cool looking.

I also really enjoyed a short trip to tybee island. It has a beautiful lighthouse on the beach which would be excellent to draw/paint esp at sunrise/sunset.

One more is bonaventure cemetery. The architecture, landscaping/trees, and sculptures are truly unique. Have a great trip!

The abundance of classic architecture in Old Town could keep you busy for years, but check out the nearby Riverwalk as well. For a change of scenery, the Isle of Hope to the east will give you a glimpse of the savannah for which the town is named (I believe most of the city is technically below sea level BTW). Furthest east to the Atlantic are Tybee Island and an old fort that could be interesting this time of year. Happy trails!

I recommend a history tour while there. Of course walk through the lovely parks, one after another that are surrounded by interesting architecture. Sample the delicious food and you’ll have fun! Can’t wait to hear about it!
