This is so interesting! I’ve driven past the storefront for years and always wondered about the business that had beautiful old automobiles in its window. What were they doing and how did they get the cars in there? So glad to learn about it and I look forward to the artwork you’ll create. Thanks!

PS coincidentally I saw a historian post today the history of the exact same spot. They said until the late 1800s the city's black population was focused there, around Washington and 10th/Mulberry. Many self-built and wooden homes.

Linda, you'll have to check it out in person sometime. They are really nice people. McGintys have had it for about two years, and I think the prior owners did some nice restoration of the structure.
